Fertilization and Weed Control

Our package consists of 5 applications per year that will provide pre emergent and post emergent weed control, as well as grassy weed control and full fertilization for the lawn.

Timing of applications is critical to the success of any plan.  Our plan will get these applications done correctly and at the right time to maximize effectiveness.  A year-round plan is important to treat all the problems in the times when they can be most effective. For that reason we do not offer one-time weed control applications.

Turning a weed infested or unhealthy lawn around takes time.  There is no one shot spray that will instantly take care of all the weeds.  Instead patience and persistence must be used to build and improve a lawn over time.  You should expect to see a much improved lawn after a full season of applications.  After each application you’ll receive an analysis of your lawn, along with recommendations and a watering schedule.

We use two different local companies to provide this service for our customers through a subcontract relationship.  You will get notifications from them regarding upcoming visits and notes and flags in the yard from them.  You’ll see their trucks and employees doing the applications.

Having us do both services will simplify the process versus having two companies and bills.  Also we can schedule the services to maximize the effectiveness of the treatments and eliminate schedule conflicts that can make your applications ineffective.

To make billing simple, we bill for the application program monthly on a fixed monthly amount all year instead of when the applications are done.  Let us know if you’d like a quote.

Please note the presence of hard-to-treat weeds at time of first service such as dallisgrass, bluestem, or crabgrass will necessitate additional specialized treatments to control at an additional cost.
